SF Yoga Magazine is a conscious media company dedicated to promoting the greater Bay Area's yoga and wellness community through our digital, print (coming soon) and social platforms. We support and encourage spiritual growth, healing, service and self-empowerment through the teachings of yoga and other mindful events. We aim to share resources with our community that help elevate our consciousness and enhance the quality of our lives through yoga, teachings from spiritual teachers, meditation, conscious festivals, teacher trainings, music and various healing modalities.

Rachel Nichols

A Bay Area native, Rachel Nichols has worked in the publishing business as a professional editor since 2006. With a love for content creation, yoga and spirituality, Rachel joined SF Yoga Mag as co-creator and editor. She has been practicing yoga since 2011 and is continuously inspired by the transformation that the practice has brought to her life, both on and off the mat. In 2014, she completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program through Yoga Community in Sonoma and in 2018 she studied Reiki healing in San Francisco. Rachel loves to learn about what makes herself and others tick, and has a passion for personal growth, mind-body healing, psychology and astrology (she is a Scorpio, by the way). More recently she has been studying human connection and relationships as a spiritual path. In her free time, you will find Rachel practicing yoga, taking personal growth workshops, hiking, reading, taking photos and chasing the sunset and full moon. Follow her on Instagram: @rnichols.
