The Dance Party For Your 2017 Work Out Goals

The Dance Party For Your 2017 Work Out Goals

By Autumn Feldmeier

You are probably reading this as you've just partied and danced throughout the holidays and are now committed to some 'Detox' or 'Cleanse.'

AND, you probably think that means no more fun, no more dancing. Well, have no fear, Daybreaker SF has your back!

I attended the year end Christmas edition and it did not disappoint! Morning yoga followed by some of the best music the Bay Area has to offer (day or night).

As I was dancing, I realized the simple lesson of Daybreaker:

D- Dance like no one is watching. Most people are consumed with their own dance moves anyways.
A-Assume nothing. Your next best friend may be dancing next to you dressed as a sparkly Santa or sequined Jesus!
Y-You have the capacity to be magical. Even at 6:30am.
B-Buddha exists in each of us as us. We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
R-Regret nothing.
E-Eat organic foods. Daybreaker makes this easy with free organic treats being served at each event.
A- Act as if everything will work out in the end.
K-Know your worth. At Daybreaker all walks of life dance together, from techies headed into work to 70 year old Ecstatic dancers.
E-Establish boundaries that lead to good relationships. The dance floor is a great place to practice this.
R-Realize that it's all just a dream anyway, you might as well dance.

So, in this New Year of 2017, do a detox, set intentions, go for that new job or quit the one you hate. And no matter what ... do NOT forget to dance!!
