Kim Sin Announces New 15-Hour Office Yoga Virtual Teacher Training

PRESS RELEASE BY KIM SIN YOGA

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA - Kim Sin, founder of Kim Sin Yoga is announcing the release of her company’s Office Yoga Virtual Teacher Training, the first stand alone, online training of its kind.

The comprehensive, 15-hour course is designed to give yoga instructors the confidence and business skills necessary to deliver yoga and meditation classes in the workplace. In 2012, Kim created the Bay Area’s first company to specialize in teaching office yoga. Since then she’s worked with founders and teams at AirBnB, Zendesk, Gap, Tinder and over a 100 other companies to deliver mindfulness based yoga and meditation classes.

She’s also expanded her solo teaching to a team of 8 teachers, which she places at offices throughout the Bay Area. This training was born out of Kim’s own experience needing to hire and train yoga instructors who were confident teaching in a non-studio setting.

“I’ve been working with my teachers guiding them on how to teach safe, effective yoga with engaging classes that counterbalance the effects of sitting and working at a computer. We practice using simple and accessible language while we share the ancient tradition of yoga and mindfulness to some of the most forward thinking companies in the Bay Area.”

In addition to the poses and sequencing, the training provides students with the business skills necessary to start and grow a yoga services business. These insights also include templates and a step-by-step guide for yoga instructors to sell and market their services to companies based on her 8 years of experience building a six-figure business.

Kim’s work has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Yoga Journal, and MindBodyGreen where she shares stress relieving poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices.
