Still Basking In The High Vibes From The Telluride Yoga Festival

It's been just over a week since we attended the Telluride Yoga Festival and we are still basking in the high vibes from it all.

It is hard to put the experience and feelings into words but here I go.

Let's start with Telluride, if you have not ever been to Telluride, Colorado I highly suggest making a trip there, and even better, attending the yoga festival,  it is an experience that will stay with you for a long time, probably forever.

The town of Telluride and the surrounding areas like Mountain Village where the festival was mostly held is absolutely breathtaking. The energy there is fresh and crisp and invites you to get out and into nature. The festival offers many unique opportunities to be in nature through outdoor yoga classes and meditations, sunrise and sunset classes, guided hikes, biking, river walks, forest bathing, and even a tea ceremony in an Aspen cove (my favorite). We were blessed to have a beautiful sunny weekend to fully enjoy the extraordinary environment.

Telluride is a quaint little town surrounded by glorious mountains, the San Miguel River, magnificent waterfalls, boutique shops and restaurants. The coolest part of it is to get up to the Mountain Village you can either drive a car around the mountain and up or you can take a quick gondola ride right up the side of the mountain. This experience alone is thrilling and breathtaking as well.

I especially enjoyed meeting new people that came from all over to attend the festival.

Now imagine being in this magical place and then having an abundance of transformational offerings to magnify the experience. The festival hosts an incredible line up of unique offerings with highly experienced facilitators, healers, musicians, and artists presenting yoga classes, meditation, wisdom talks, breath work, sound healing, music, dance, kirtan, ariel yoga, Qi Gong, food and nutrition, SUP yoga, hooping, evening concerts and movies, ecstatic dance, cacao ceremony,  body work, intuitive and energy readings, a pool party, and many vendors offering food, clothing, jewelry, crystals...and so much more!

The festival is 4 days packed with so many amazing classes that I found it difficult to choose which to attend at times. I wished to attend all of them!

After talking with other attendees, many shared how excited they were about all the unique classes the festival offered so that they could experience something new and different.

The Telluride Yoga Festival has something for everyone, all ages and all levels, including kids!

From the moment I entered Telluride I felt a shift within and this shift continued to evolve throughout the festival, expanding with each class I took, each moment in nature, and with every connection I made. I felt this transformation in my energy, heart, mind, and body. This transformation opened me to feel lighter, brighter, more joyful, more loving, more whole.

This is what I love about the Telluride Yoga Festival experience:

  • To have the opportunity to step out of the regular routine and environment and immerse in an incredible landscape.

  • To dive deep within and observe the transformation that happens.

  • To step out of my comfort zone and try new things.

  • To be guided by master teachers from around the country.

  • To receive practices and tools that we can take home with us.

  • To be in a beautiful community of like minded beings that all are choosing to grow and evolve.

What makes the Telluride Yoga Festival so special is the thoughtfulness and mindfulness that is put in to create this unique experience with such a wide variety of teachers and offerings, along with the incredible location and all the opportunities to be in nature.

Grateful is what I feel now for this amazing experience that I still feel within, grateful for the creators of the festival, the teachers, healers, and artists, and all who helped create this magical experience.

As I share my experience here I am reliving it all and feeling all the positive warm vibes reigniting within me. I have a smile on my face and I feel excitement to attend the festival again next year (June 27-30, 2024) and hope that I've ignited a spark in you and have inspired you to join me!
