This workshop is an introduction to meditation and its powers. You will learn to connect deeper to your clear self, find calmness, acceptance and compassion from within, and re-awaken the senses to look at your life in a fresh and more awake state of being. This is the perfect workshop to begin the new year and will give you the tools to move forward in your daily life with strength, empowerment and clear seeing.
This practice will help you to deal with everyday stresses in a more awake and grateful state.
The workshop will begin with 30 minutes of meditation, followed by a discussion. After this you will explore moving and walking meditations and somatic exercises to deepen your mind-body connection and awareness. Following this you will sit and meditate. The class will close with a writing exercise and discussion.
