THE PRACTICE
Mindfulness, inquiry, wholeness, strength, spaciousness, and balance are what Kim and David aim to help you explore through your yoga practice. We welcome all levels of experience.
In the mornings, you will go through a workshop style, vinyasa class led by Kim. Each practice will focus on a specific part of the body (whole body, legs, hips and core, core and spine, upper body) and will include an adventure into poses which relate to that area of the body (including reclined poses, seated poses, standing poses, balancing poses, arm balances/inversions, backbends, and meditation)
In the the afternoon, David will guide you through a creative class which combines his 15 years of teaching dance, yoga, and mat pilates. His themes for each class will be an extension of your morning practice so your body and mind can continue to explore the focus for the day. He will help you link physical poses with the powerful rhythm of your breath, strengthen your core, while also focusing your mind and enlivening your spirit.
