Yoga for Trauma Recovery Workshop

Join Lotus senior teacher Brima Jah for a discussion followed by a 2-hour yoga practice that assists in recovery from physical, mental, or emotional imbalance, identity ways to modify the physical yoga practice to support trauma recovery and encourages the use of props as boundaries and scaffolding. The workshop will include an hour of Lotus Flow practice, followed by a second hour restorative yoga practice. The entire practice will incorporate the use of mudras, mantra, pranayama and yoga philosophy that explores our relationship and attachment to our bodies, minds and emotions.
Please bring a journal and writing utensil.
