What was the inspiration behind the studio? Inspired by Bhakti Center in NYC.
Do you have a mission at your studio? A non profit yoga and meditation center in the heart of San Francisco. Bhakti center is run by volunteers for the benefit of all true seekers of higher knowledge. Based on the teachings of Bhagavad Gita, all yoga practices are authentic and traditional. Two foundational practices of Bhakti Center are mantra meditation for self realisation and offerings of vegetarian foods, called prasadam.
What style of yoga classes are taught at your studio? Currently we offer Jivamukti method on Monday nights with Carly Boland and a Bhakti Vinyasa fusion class on Sunday mornings 10 AM.
Do you offer meditation classes? Coming soon!
Do you have Kirtan at your studio? Yes. Every Thursday night is Kirtan night!
Do you have a teacher training program at your studio? Not currently, but anyone who visits the studio regularly will develop the bhakti practices which are practiced by all the volunteers.
Do you offer special events or workshops? Cooking classes, retreats, yoga and dinner nights on Fridays.
