Travel To Namibia For A One Of A Kind Yoga Retreat

PRESS RELEASE

NAMIBIA, AFRICA, JUNE 2-9 - Immerse yourself in African drum beats and sunset game drives, along with meditation and yoga in nature, during a 7-day stay in Namibia. This is truly a one-of-a-kind yoga retreat. The sights, sounds, and smells of Namibia (home of the largest salt pan in Africa and one of the last places where you see black and white rhinos in their natural environment!) are yours for the taking. Reserve your space here!

Deidre Norman will be your yoga teacher. Daily yoga classes and meditations will be devotional and dynamic, inspiring you to flow from your heart space. We will combine physical postures, breath work, kriyas, meditation, energy healing, and chanting...all in the natural environment of Namibia. To learn more about Deidre, visit: deidrenorman.com.

About Namibia

With a population of 2 million, Namibia is the second least populous country in the world. This makes it the perfect place to commune with nature on an African yoga retreat. Colonized by the Germans, the country is orderly and its infrastructure makes travel easy. The post-apartheid nation only declared its independence in 1990. Since then, it has become the only nation in the world to have conservation written into its constitution, and it has become a model for countries that struggle with human/wildlife conflict all over the world.

From Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport, we will travel north to Etosha National Park. All transfers, accommodations, nutritious meals, 2 game drives in Etosha National Park, and daily yoga/meditation are included. We will have professional guides for our game drives and for all of our excursions.

Etosha’s salt pan shimmers in the heat and attracts animals from far and wide. Elephants, elands, and white rhinos congregate at watering holes while giraffes nibble at the acacias in the woodlands. Etosha’s cats are thriving with large populations of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. There are 340 species of African birds that will also be flying around.

Luxury Accomodations

Toshari Lodge - Located just outside Etosha National Park on an outcrop of dolomite rocks, under a forest of Mopane and white Seringa trees.
