"Run, Bend, Sit" With Wanderlust 108

By SF Yoga Mag

"Run, Bend, Sit.”

The Wanderlust 108, is a mindful triathlon where, instead of running, biking and swimming, participants can do a 5K fun run (or walk!), take an energetic yoga class, and meditate with top national instructors. Put simply it’s a #5KYogaMeditation. Amazing DJ’s will spin tunes to provide the soundtrack to the day’s events. Wanderlust 108 is happening in SF on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 7:30am - 3:30pm.

The Run:

The run will take place at Lindley Meadow, nestled in Golden Gate Park. Check in begins at 7:30am. The run will start with a dynamic warm-up lead by a Wanderlust x adidas run leader! This is a 5K (+/-) your way, so don’t sweat it. Adidas will be right by your side as you take the first step of the mindful triathlon.

The Yoga:

Hop on your mat for a DJ-powered yoga flow class led by top instructors. Warning: dance parties may form! Whether you’re new to yoga or an advanced practitioner, you’ll enjoy stretching out and opening up with a high-spirited vibe.

The Meditation:

Complete the mindful triathlon with 30 minutes of a soul reviving meditation led by world renowned spiritual leaders. It’s a great way to "get your sit together,” to clear your mind and relax your body after all of the physical effort from the day.

In addition to the main events, mini workshops are also available in aerial yoga, acroyoga, hooping, walking meditation or a community class from a favorite local yoga studio. Just be sure to sign up in advance! They also have an incredible Kula Marketplace, which will offer the finest from local craft vendors, including unique apparel, jewelry, and handcrafted items. There will also be a bagged lunch option to keep triathletes nourished throughout the day.
