What was the inspiration behind the studio? To create a neighborhood studio with Pilates, The Gyrotonic Method, Feldenkrais and group fitness classes all under one roof. The no gym, gym.
Do you have a mission at your studio? Our mission is to provide a holistic approach to fitness training by offering a variety of movement modalities taught by highly trained professionals. We're passionate about bringing joy and life to exercise, and about maintaining a high standard of instruction and education. We keep classes and individual sessions approachable to all fitness levels because we are a studio for REAL people, REAL life AND REAL outcomes.
What style of classes are taught at your studio? We teach a variety of classes from a traditional Pilates Mat class to our own group intensity training class that is a refined HIIT class,(G.I.T. FIT). We also offer private, semi private and trio options for clients.
Do you offer special events or workshops? Yes, our workshops are topic based and are offered for clients and trainers. Past ones have been: Gait and Analysis, Posture with the Feldenkrais Method, Breathe and Restore, etc.
What kind of students would resonate with your studio? We attract real people who are looking for classes with all levels, and a committed community. We have the unique option of offering rehab after injuries or pregnancy or for those who are just beginning. Our clientele are professionals who are dedicated to health, movement and living a better life.
What is your favorite quote? Wow, there are so many, but I loved what my friend Laurie Wilmot said yesterday: Exercise is contagious.
